Making Telehealth Appointments
You can either reserve a specific time or request a date with an AM/PM preference. Healow will send you an email to either confirm or decline the appointment. Within 72 business hours after your appointment is confirmed, our staff will send you an email with links for a virtual visit (Google Meet) and the necessary clinic paperwork you may need to complete.
Please try out the Google Link ahead of time. If you require any assistance, please contact our office at least 48 hours before your visit.
Using Our Online Booking
With the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, we are resuming in-person visits. If you would like a Telehealth appointment, please indicate 'telehealth visit' in the “Info for the Provider” box, or contact our office at 248-569-7745.
If you cannot locate your "reason for the visit", select “Other” and enter your visit reason in the “Info for the Provider” box.

If you are the power of attorney making an appointment for a patient, please provide us with the POA appointment letter prior to the appointment. You need to contact our office to request an appointment. Please do not use online booking. If you do not follow these instructions, your appointment will be canceled.
Obtaining Authorization
All the following must use the 'Send Request' option or call our office to make an appointment.
Medicaid - Straight or Medicaid HMO plans
HMO - a prior authorization and referral are required from your primary care physician prior to your appointment.
Priority Health - we need to request prior authorization on your behalf, please allow 2 weeks from the time of booking to the appointment date. Patients with brain diagnoses or under the age of 18 do not require prior authorization.
Auto/Worker’s Compensation

A letter of authorization from the insurance company on their letterhead is required or you, as the patient, will be liable to pay for the appointment upfront.

When you call us, please have the following: Name of insurance, claim number, date of the incident, Adjustor/Attorney/Case Manager contact information.
Bringing Your Imaging
We require advanced imaging studies for all new patients:

We require imaging studies (CT/MRI/XR) to make a diagnosis.

If your CT/MRI or your XR (spine with flexion/extension views) is done within the last 6 months, please send them to us before the appointment or bring them with you.

We only accept CT/MRI within the last 6 months.

We can access your imaging if they are done at a Southeast Michigan Ascension facility,

For imaging done at non-Ascension facilities, you need to send your imaging study CD and report to us before your appointment or bring them with you to the appointment.
